The core issue addressed at this year’s American Sociological Association’s annual meeting is economic injustice. To be clear, the conference is not simply addressing the demographics of inequality, but rather the profound hurt such inequality brings to our lives.
What does inequality look like in America? The 2012 Youtube video “Wealth Inequality in America” is one important statement. Sadly, the situation has only gotten worse since 2012, and it is beyond tragic for people of color and women.
